Product Shipping Policies and Terms
General Shipping Information:
- We ship to the contiguous 48 states only.
- We ship out products every week Monday though Friday; weather and holidays permitting.
- We ship packages FedEx, UPS and USPS.
- We calculate your shipping at the time of check-out and then pick the best method of shipping for your products to your location.
- FedEx and UPS cannot ship to a P.O. Box, APO or FPO address (these addresses are serviced by USPS).
Additional Shipping Information:
Some products, due to weight or size, require additional shipping fees.
These items are identified with "In Store **" in the buy area .
To determine the shipping price to your location please call or email.
When emailing to get a shipping price please remember to include the product(s)
you are looking to purchase and you address so we can respond quickly with a price.
Live Animal Policies and Terms
Live Animal Shipping:
- We ship every week Monday thru Thursday. We do not ship out orders on Fridays or Saturdays.
- All orders are shipped UPS Next Day Air in insulated shipping boxes with either cold or heat packs depending on the weather.
- All orders received by 12:30pm EST will ship out that day unless otherwise noted.
- All orders received after 12:30pm EST will ship out the following day.
- Although we try to fulfill every order completely, we will notify you of any shortages.
- We MUST be notified of any problems within 3 hours of recieving your shipment.
Live Arrival Guarantee:
- We guarantee that all of our animals will arrive happy, healthy, and exactly as described.
- We CANNOT extend our guarantee to shipments delayed by measures beyond our control ( i.e. inclement weather).
- The live arrival guarantee is voided if package is not signed for on the first delivery attempt.
- The live arrival guarantee is voided if temperature at time of arrival is above 90 degrees F or below 35 degrees F.
Live Animal Refunds & Replacements:
If you do have a problem with your order you have three
options on how to resolve your issue.
1. You may have a replacement animal sent to you immediately.
1. You will receive credit to be used on your next order.
3. You can have replacement animals sent with your next order.
- We are sorry but we do not offer cash refunds.
- We will be glad to replace any animal if you have a problem.
- We do not cover replacement shipping for any reason.
- We require that you do not dispose of any deceased animal until contacting us for further instruction.
- We may require a digital picture of the deceased animal or the remains to be sent to us for verification.
Turtles & Tortoises:
- All turtles and tortoises under 4 inches are sold strictly for scientific and educational purposes only.
Venomous:
- NO venomous animals will be sold to any minor (under the age of 18 years old).
- NO venomous animals will be sold to states which prohibit their possession, unless the purchaser has the correct permit or license.
- We require a copy of said permit or license before shipping the order.
Laws and Violations:
- You are solely responsible for knowing your state and local laws.
- The Pet Zone will not be held liable if you violate any laws.
Other Considerations:
- Our website provides you with the opportunity to "see" what you are buying.
- You should be aware, however that the colors shown may not be exact.
- Manufacturer design revisions and color variations may exist.
- Prices, products, availability and offers are subject to change without notice.
- The Pet Zone is not responsible for graphical display or typographical errors.
